Return To Tha Double Glock: 30 Years of E. 1999 Eternal
Could it be, back-to-back podcast episodes? Is someone taking their content creation more seriously? Well, judging by the existence of this podcast episode and this very post those assumptions would be correct.
Rewinding back to the beginning of 2025 I released an episode of the podcast celebrating 30 years of Bone thugs-n-harmony’s 1994 album Creepin’ On Ah Come Up. That album turned 30 in June of 2024. Fast forward to today and the release of the podcast celebrating the 30th anniversary of E. 1999 Eternal. My goal was to have this episode ready to go on the anniversary of the album in July but, that never happened. So I have been sitting on this podcast since then.
To celebrate 30 years of E. 1999 Eternal I give an overview of the album, some numbers, and some fun facts. The heart of this episode however, focuses more on my memories from the release of this album and the experience that surround it and how it still continues to impact me today.
I hope you enjoy listening to this podcast because I enjoyed making it. At some point in the future I do plan to dive a little bit deeper into the experience that surrounded how movies, music, and art were consumed back in the 90s.
