Turn The Crank! Riddle Box Turns 30!

I may have mentioned it in the E. 1999 Eternal post, but if I didn’t I will mention it here again. While 2025 on the whole hasn’t been the greatest of years, it did see a whole bunch of great albums turning thirty this year. I am only talking about hip-hop and rap albums here, 1995 was a good year for music overall so this year saw a lot of great music turning 30.

On the most recent episode of the podcast I decided to showcase another album that turned 30 this year and had a significant impact on my life. What is that album you ask? The album in question is none other than the ALMIGHTY Riddle Box!

The Riddle Box is the 3rd Joker’s Card of the first deck in Insane Clown Posse’s Dark Carnival lore. While I did own this album around the time of it’s release, unlike E. 1999 Eternal, I would feel it’s impact until years later.
